Aperture: f/8.0
Shutter speed: 0.002 sec (1/500) IOS: 200 Focal length: 6.3mm I chose this photo because I like the angle I took the picture at, and I thought the net going between the shoes was a good addition. This picture stands out because it is so bright, and because it’s the only picture where I lowered the clarity in the picture. Lowering the clarity made it more interesting because it made the picture look like it came out of a dream. I was inspired to take this picture because I wrote my personal essay on soccer, and this photo tied into that theme very well. I put the shoes in the net in an attempt to make my picture stand out from other soccer pictures people may have taken in the past. |
Aperture: f/2.6
Shutter speed: 0.01 sec (1/100) IOS: 200 Focal length: 5.8mm I chose this image because I put a lot of work into bringing out the red color, and making the rest black and white. I love how it turned out, especially because it took me much longer than any other picture. It stands out because it has one color popping out, and none of my other pictures do this. I was inspired to take this photo because the jacket was so bright, and I knew it would make this picture stand out from my other pictures. |
Aperture: f/2.6
Shutter speed: 0.02 sec (1/50) IOS: 200 Focal length: 5.8mm I chose this image because it’s very bright and I love bright pictures. The sunglasses make me think of summer and good times, which adds to my love for this picture. It stands out because it is very simple compared to some of my pictures, and the color makes it pop. I was inspired to take it because the photo challenge was color, and I wanted to get a color that would stand out. I also took this picture during a week where there was a lot of sun, and sunglasses are the first thing I think of when I see the sun. |
Aperture: f/2.6
Shutter speed: 0.008 sec (1/125) IOS: 200 Focal length: 5.8mm I like this image because it is different than most of the pictures I have taken over the semester. It stands out because the picture makes the birdhouse look beaten up a little, but also makes the colors look bright. It’s also one of the few photos where I made the edges slightly black to intensify the picture. I was inspired to take this picture because there was a texture photo challenge, and this was the best example of texture I found that I knew would be original. |
Aperture: f/2.6
Shutter speed: 0.1 sec (1/10) IOS: 100 Focal length: 5.8mm I chose this picture because of all the bright colors in the photo and how part of the photo is sort of blurred out while the rest is in focus. It stands out because of how much contrast it has. The inspiration for this photo came from the lines photo challenge. The colored pencils were perfect for this photo challenge. I have seen some pictures online of rainbows made of crayons, t-shirt, and other various objects. That also inspired me to take this photo. |
